As part of the ESRS Congress, the RSU Social Sciences Research Centre is organising an academic writing workshop dedicated to the development and elaboration of a scholarly article for the journal Letonica.
Letonica is a Latvia-based journal that features original articles that have not been previously published, focusing on topics within the humanities and social sciences.
The writing workshop will offer practical and at the same time creative advice on how to proceed with writing an academic article, in the first part of the session focusing on developing an article for the journal Letonica.
When and where
The workshop will be held on July 10, from 9:30 to 12:00, in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Rīga Stradiņš University, Kuldīgas iela 9C, Room A203.

Participation
The workshop is open and free to everyone interested in the development of their academic writing skills through a variety of techniques. However, the number of seats is limited.
Contents
During the workshop, the writing facilitator will:
- Share practical tips for writing, from first draft to final polish, plus helpful resources.
- Inspire fresh ideas through real-life insights and the latest trends in academic writing.
- Foster feedback and connection with tools for self-review, peer input, and collaboration.
